Photo Recap: Taco the Art Show **UPDATE**

National Taco Day has sadly passed but what a glorious day it was! The event, hosted by the talented Mandee Rae, was instantly jam packed with taco appreciators from around the city!

Were you unable to make it or just want to remember the day fondly while craving tacos for the second time this week; below are photos of just some of the incredible Taco art pieces the night had to offer:

Though I was blown away by all the unique artwork, the Shark & Fish Taco's painting (above) was a personal favorite, as were the sparkle tacos (below)-- sparkle tacos!! Towards the end of the evening we raffled off the Giant Crocheted Taco (by me, duh!) & the winner seemed genuinely thrilled! I hope she is using it as a pillow somewhere as I type.

We Did It!!

Painting by Scott Murry, all rights reserved.

Last night was a SMASH success!!!  We packed the Cantina Mexicana to the rafters, sold some art,  killed some tacos and even enjoyed some jalapeno margaritas (Marga-penos?)!  All in all, it was an amazing night!  Thanks to everyone who braved the rain and came out to celebrate our nation's greatest food holiday.

National Deviled Egg Day is November 2nd....start the countdown!

Happy National Taco Day Eve!

Tonight families long seperated by miles and time will come together to celebrate National Taco Day Eve by taking turns placing their heads in the ceremonial paper bag to do the National Taco Day dance.  It is a matter of great pride and civic duty that all Americans take part in this national celebration to celebrate our taco independence and ensure future generations are able to do the same.

Happy National Taco Day Eve.
